Get ready for a bier-tastic time at Dick Brothers Brewery and Quincy Brewing Company’s 2nd annual MayFest, happening at 929 York St. in the heart of Quincy, IL. We’re continuing the tradition of celebrating Quincy’s German heritage and toasting to the history of our beloved brewery.
Our MayFest, or as they say in Germany, Maifest, is the ultimate spring shindig. It’s like Oktoberfest’s lively little sibling, but with blooming flowers instead of falling leaves. Last year, MayFest drew in a whopping 4,000+ party enthusiasts, and this year, we’re turning up the gemĂĽtlichkeit!
Calling all homebrew heroes!Â
From 1-3pm, we’re featuring our local brewing maestros inside the Dick Brothers Brewery Bottle House. It’s a ticketed event, and attendees will pay for a passport to beer paradise. Homebrewers, you’ll need to whip up 5 gallons of your finest brew for our eager samplers. You can enter up to two beers in our contest.

$200 cash prize for the best of show, as voted by our enthusiastic crowd. The runner-up snags $100, and the second runner-up pockets $50. We’ll be providing tables, water stations, voting tickets, and, of course, the all-important sampling glasses.
But wait, there’s more! We’ve got family-friendly activities, live music that’ll make you polka, scrumptious German-inspired nosh, and enough gemĂĽtlichkeit to power a party that rivals the best Oktoberfests in history.
